This insurance includes coverage for expenses such as trip cancellation, lost baggage, accidents, emergency medical repatriation, and unforeseen medical expenses abroad. You can customize these coverages by choosing either a comprehensive package (multi-risk) or individual options (à la carte) through IEH.
Please note that insurance coverages provided by credit cards vary depending on the card type and issuing bank, often requiring the card to be used for trip purchases.
Subscribing to IEH travel insurance represents the pinnacle of ensuring comprehensive coverage and peace of mind for your travels.
Cancellation Insurance must be arranged either on the day of your trip purchase or before the billing date of the cancellation fees as specified in the travel agency’s terms of sale.
In case of trip or stay cancellation, you may be liable for the total or a portion of the costs of the canceled services, calculated according to a scale outlined in the travel agency’s general terms and conditions, with higher charges closer to the departure date. IEH, acting as a broker, offers Cancellation Insurance to reimburse these fees that remain your responsibility.
The ‘all justified causes’ cancellation insurance covers all reasons that could lead to the cancellation of your trip or stay, provided that these reasons were unforeseeable at the time you subscribed to your contract and are beyond your control and justified. This guarantee also includes coverage in the event of a terrorist attack or major event occurring within a 100-kilometer radius of your place of stay.
Example of a justified cause: Your leave was approved and scheduled by your employer at the time of contract subscription but was subsequently canceled by your employer before your departure.
